AliExpress prices change daily. Products you're watching often drop 20–40% without warning. This workflow sets you up to catch the dip — automatically.
~2 min
Enter the product URL into the price checker. What you're establishing here is the floor price — the lowest point this product has ever sold for. This is your target buying price.
Also look for the price cycle: - How often does the price change? - How long does it typically stay at the low point before rising again? - Does it drop during predictable sale events (11.11, 618, Ramadan, year-end clearance)?
A product with a clear cycle (regular dips of 20–30%) is worth tracking actively. A product with a flat price history has a stable market price — waiting for a dip may be a long wait.
Note the floor price and the average price. The floor is your target. The average tells you how far from the floor the current price is.

Open the movers page and filter to the product's category. Look at the trending view to understand the promotion calendar for this type of product.
Different categories follow different sale patterns on AliExpress: - Electronics drop during 11.11 (November) and year-end clearance (December) - Home goods drop during 618 (June) and spring sales - Fashion drops during seasonal transitions (March and September) - Seasonal products often hit floor prices 2–3 weeks before the relevant holiday, not during it (sellers liquidate early)
If your product is in a category that predictably dips within the next 3–4 weeks, waiting is almost always worth it. If the next predictable sale event is 3+ months away, that changes the math.

Save the product to your shortlist now. Add a note with: - The floor price from Step 1 (your target) - The current price (so you can see the gap at a glance when you return) - The next expected sale window from Step 2
Your shortlist is your personal price-watch list. When you return later — before a sale event or after a few weeks — you'll immediately see whether the price moved and whether it's now at or near your target.
Patience is a buying advantage on AliExpress. Most buyers buy at the first price they see. Buyers who track prices over a few weeks routinely pay 20–40% less for the same product from the same seller.

The shortlist shows you prices when you come back to this site. To catch price drops automatically — without having to remember to check — install the AliShopping extension.
With the extension installed: - You see the price history overlay directly on any AliExpress product page while you browse - The extension flags when the current price is near or at the historical floor, so you know to buy now - You don't have to copy URLs or run manual checks — the signal comes to you
The extension is free and works in your browser as you browse AliExpress normally. Install it from the Chrome Web Store and the price history overlay appears automatically on every product page you open.
This is the difference between manually remembering to check prices and being automatically informed when the moment to buy has arrived.
